Hello! I am Aurora Cruz, I am an inspiring poet and artist. 

I grew up in California, by the waters, and I am Mexican-American. I have been writing since I was elementary: short stories, little poems, and just about the day sometimes. Reading is another passion, that is how I came to fall in love with writing; all the different writing styles, all the different stories, and all the different genres one could write.

Stay and enjoy some of the work I wrote in class.

I have been writing since elementary; about my day, or weather when the clouds looked odd or treacherous, or about little made up stories to pass the time when I was bored. Sometimes I write when the words I want to say get caught in my throat. I will always be a writer, if when the pen is put down and I just experience the world. Thank you to my mom for always supporting me, to my partner for always listening, and to my family and friends that read my work even if it wasn't good.
